Effective Monday, May 11th, city buildings will reopen with limited access and safety guidelines in place. The park and trail are open and we encourage you to enjoy these amenities safely while adhering to social distancing guidelines and not gathering in large crowds. Located in Travelers Rest, SC near the Blue Ridge Mountains and Furman University, Trailblazer Park is a beautiful urban green space that serves as a source of wellness and pleasure for our citizens, and a window into the diverse cultural assets and traditions that enrich life in Travelers Rest.

Visitors come to enjoy our many free events, such as concerts, movies, festivals and the Travelers Rest Farmers Market with beautiful mountain views in the background. Both highways provide quick access to the park from South Carolina as well as the mountain communities of North Carolina. Parking Ample parking is available on both the Northside of the venue, near the covered pavilion and on the Southside, facing the amphitheater off of Old Buncombe Road.

ADA parking is available in both areas. Rock and roll at Trailblazer Park! Enjoy free concerts Saturday evening in May, June and September with a variety of local and touring bands. Recognized as one of the best outdoor music venues in South Carolina, Trailblazer Park is the place to be on Saturdays in the Upstate this summer. Click the image for the band line!

Check out our Lineup Here! Thursdays in October we celebrate small-town living with a community event complete with family-style dining and authentic Bluegrass music! The Travelers Rest Farmers Market sets up under the pavilion with vendors selling everything from local produce to handmade artisan products and old-time, bluegrass songs are performed in the open-air amphitheater.

A great lineup of food trucks gathers and families sit down to a community-spirited evening for one of the most charming experiences in the Upstate.

From May through September, enjoy fresh from the farm goodness, live music, cooking demos, crafts from local artists, events for kids, tips from growers and so much more in a relaxed, mountain atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The Travelers Rest Farmers Market offers a local shopping experience that includes everything from seasonal fruits and vegetables, to fresh meat products, herbs, honey, eggs, cheese, jams and jellies, seafood, artisan bread, baked goods, cut flowers, potted plants and so much more.
